The trekking to the Valbona Lakes, on the mountains of Tione (Tn), is a trail to experience the solitude, nowadays difficult to find even in the Alpine valleys.
In the company of Guides Mountain Friends get familiar with the history, flora and fauna of our mountains, and of the man who live there. Several huts along the trail transform the trekking into a pleasant approach to the mountain and to its exciting vegetation always accompanied the stunning views over the Brenta. The lakes are located on two levels and their circular shape remind us their glacial origin. The surrounding area is characterised by vast grasslands - used by man in the recent past for the summer pasture herds - now covered by rhododendrons, junipers and green alder.
