The tour organized by Mountain Friends at Doss del Sabion is considered among the most interesting from the point of view of the landscape, with a unique view.
Suitable for all, it is located in a place of high geological quality which characterizes the entire route. Do not underestimate the interesting natural and ethnographic curiosities that along the way. The route starts from Doss del Sabion that can be easily reached via lift from Pinzolo. From here the sight is unique and breathtaking. The trail descends along the ridge to the east, until it meets the first signs of high altitude vegetation (shrubs, rhododendrons, pines). It will be interesting to find out, on the way down, the variations of flora at the different altitudinal belts. Along the way you will encounter several large pastures with their huts, the so called Malga. Following an easy loop trail you will finally enter in a forest of both conifers and deciduous, that leads to Pra Rodont. Hence you will return by cable car to Pinzolo.
