You will get close to the rock formations that take colors, shapes and different layers becoming either majestic vertical walls or sharp spiers or steeples. Moreover, you can see carved caves and waterfalls of Vallesinella. The tour follows an easy path suitable for everyone that starts at the Passo del Grostè. You can easily reach the starting point from Madonna di Campiglio by cable car. The route is mostly flat or downhill, along a total elevation gain of 1,000 m. The trail runs through the heart of the Dolomites, at the foot of the great rock walls and around the boulders up to the Rifugio Tuckett. Then it gradually enters into the vegetation until it reaches the refuge Casinei. It turns then into the woods to Malga Vallesinella Alta and its wide clearing surrounded by green pasture. Further down the path skirts the Vallesinella waterfalls whose jets flow directly from the underground. The arrival point of the excursion is the Refuge Vallesinella.
